I forgot to post this when I did it, but I bought some washers at Lowe’s and put the license plate lights back on the car.
It’s not much, but it’s the first thing I did to the car other than putting the license plate on.
The other things I need to do:
Weld the floor
Install some more trim bits.
Drive it.

Such a pretty old car!
Do you have welding experience?

Funny story about that... I took a welding class in college and passed, but I never got a turn with the torch. It was always taken, so I just worked on other shop stuff like CNC machines the whole time. Apparently that was good enough for the professor to give me a B.
So... yes-ish? I learned how to weld. I just haven’t done it yet. I also don’t really remember how....
I might go the cheater route and just drill holes and bolt some license plates over the rust holes.

There’s only one way to really learn! And this is a great kind of project to do it on: one with low stakes.
